The Wedding Details

Because being photographed on your wedding day is a personal, once-in-a-lifetime experience. How you feel in front of the camera. The tears that your mom tries to sneakily wipe away. All of the things that go into how you experience the wedding day are captured most beautifully when you know the person behind the camera cares about you.

So here is my promise to you β€” to intentionally get to know you, support you, and seamlessly blend into your wedding day so that one day you can hand those photos to your kids and say, β€œthat’s exactly how it felt.”

You deserve a photographer who knows you at a personal level.

Kind Words

"The photos are unbelievable.

I’ve been constantly scrolling through the gallery, and Megan couldn’t have done a better job. I’m reliving our wedding day and crying happy tears! What she does with photography is amazing.”

"I was so happy when we got our engagement pictures back, and I knew that our wedding photos would be even better. Megan did not disappoint!!

We both loved that she made us feel natural and not forced to pose awkwardly. It was all so relaxed and she never made us feel rushed. She was so involved, but I never felt like she was intruding.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This very much depends on the scope of your day. Eight hours is the minimum I would recommend, and in this case, I include a second photographer to maximize the coverage time. For weddings that include multiple locations (or a full mass), additional time is needed. Once you inquire about your date, we’ll set up a call to discuss what is needed for your day.

  • One of my wedding packages does include an engagement session. Other packages provide the option to add on an engagement session.

  • Wedding galleries: 6 weeks
    Sessions: 3 weeks

  • Please do! I approach your wedding photography as collaborative, and I want to see the photos that inspire you. I love when clients send me reels and tiktoks they’ve seen with photo ideas.

  • Typically, I reserve 40 minutes for family photos post ceremony, which accounts for transition time between the end of the ceremony and beginning of family portraits. One of the things we’ll do together before your wedding day is review the Family Photo Worksheet where you filled out the family groupings for immediate and extended family. I’ll provide feedback for the most efficient way to photograph these portraits. Some couples with smaller families choose to schedule their family portraits 1 hour before the ceremony start time. In this case, I’ve found 20 minutes is ample time to photograph a small family shot list.

  • First, rain does not mean your photos are ruined! Some of my favorite images have happened in the rain. If it is just a sprinkle, I have clear plastic umbrellas we can use, and often, venues have places we can still shoot with overhead coverage to stay dry. If it is a downpour, I’m equipped to shoot portrait indoors.
